Yes. Every Cantac kit ships with Level III–IV plates that are NIJ tested and rated to stop common rifle threats. These are genuine ballistic plates, not props.

In Canada, plate carriers and armor plates do NOT require a PAL and are legal to own — know your local laws. In the US, body armor is legal in most states for law-abiding civilians, with some state-specific restrictions. Always know your local laws.

Each kit includes the plate carrier, a set of Level III–IV hard armor plates, and a ready-to-use IFAK. Everything you need to be set up out of the box.

Both carriers are fully adjustable and fit a wide range of body types — no size to pick. They accommodate the included standard 10x12 plates, and the shoulder straps and cummerbund adjust to dial in your fit.
